SECURING AND CLEANING SERRA PASS AND CASTLE OF PIANETTO

Thursday 8 August: inspection at Nasseto and at the Rocca di Pianetto.
At Nasseto (stage 28 – Bagno di Romagna / Valle Santa-La Verna) the works are now at an end. The path has been restored where it flanks the rough slopes and the waters have been regulated. At a point where the path is very narrow, an upstream rope will also be mounted to hold on
In Pianetto (stage 26 – Cusercoli / Santa Sofia), cleaning was done by brambles and weeds: water is still without regulation, the fountain and part of the mule track are to be restored. But now even the castle can be admired ….
For September the works will be completed.
