Zeven is a town in the district of Rotenburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It has a population of around 14.000. The nearest cities are BremerhavenBremen and Hamburg. It is at about 22 km to the NW of Rotenburg, and 40 km NE of Bremen. Zeven has been the venue of the signature of the Kloster-Zeven convention – the peace treaty signed by the Duke of Cumberland after the defeat with the French of 1757, at the beginning of the Seven-Year War. We leave Zeven taking the Langestrasse, then to the right the Kirchofsallee; we underpass highway 71 continuing straight on for about 1 km, where we shall turn to the left and after 300 m we shall underpass yet another Highway. Continuing for a further 800 m we shall be in Oldendorf. We shall cross the village, first taking to the left the Eichenstrasse then on the right, the Heidkamp; we follow this road for 1,6 km, passing the crossroad with the Olderdorferweg; continuing on for a further 600 m up to the L132 or Steinfelderstrasse, which she follow on the right for 200 m, when we turn left and immediately right to follow the path that will take us to skirting the Nature reserve of Hemelsmoor (must visit the prehistoric graves). One km on we turn left and take the direction of  Wehldorf, which lies 4 km on, across vast cultivated fields. We enter the village on the Blockenstrasse or 71 and will arrive on the Wehldorfer Bundesstrasse, which we will follow on the right for 1,9 km, when we turn left on a field lane which we shall follow for 300 m; turning right we carry on for 700 m and reach the first houses of Gyhum on the Bergstrasse; we turn left and in 500 m we shall be in the town centre. We turn right on the Bahnhofstrasse or K141; we cross the A1, then the railway and in two km we arrive at Hesedorf. At the first crossing we take to the left the Weidenweg which we follow up to the Aueweg and turn right to return on the K141, now Dorfstrasse. We follow this road for 1 km, skirting a woodland, up to three-roads fork, where we leave the K141, we continue straight on the Borchelerweg for about 3 km till we reach the Borcheler Damm which we follow on the left toward Langenhorn. Beyond this locality, at a crossroad we take to the right the Borcheler Strasse which we will follow for 1,4 km; turning right we pass the Muhlenende, and 1,4 km beyond we will be in Bult. Skirting the village for 600 m and following our route which changes direction, many times along a field lane that follows the border of various estates, finally we enter the quarter of Jeersdorf; following the  Muhlenweg we shall be on the Westerholzer Strasse; past the Muhlenteich, we turn left , following the park and in 1 km we shall be at   Scheeßel, the end of the third stage
