CORPUS DOMINI IN UMBRIA – ON THE VIA ROMEA

From June 2017, 14th the Corpus Domini celebrations in Umbria leave and an important part will be made on the VIA ROMEA GERMANICA, with walks from Castiglione del Lago (Trasimeno) to Orvieto, passing through Città della Pieve, Ficulle, Paciano, Fabro and Allerona. A wonderful trail in the Umbrian hills, with their history, their natural beauties, gastronomy and typical local products to taste … Then there will be the night walk from Lake Bolsena to Orvieto, among the olive trees, the woods that skirt the basalt of ancient Roman roads. The day of Corpus Christi in Orvieto will be the classic parade and procession in the Renaissance costumes that, like every year, invites tourists from everywhere.
