AREZZO – PRESENTATION OF THE VIA ROMEA

Wednesday, February 22, in the Sala del Saracino, in the City Hall, the VIA ROMEA GERMANICA was illustrated to many Tuscan municipalities (Chiusi, Subbiano, Capolona, ​​Bibbiena, Cortona, Arezzo with their Mayors and Councillors), the GAL (Aretino, Altra Romagna, Delta2000) the Way of St. Francis, the CAI Aretino, associations, tour operators, guides … This important event was sorted out by the Municipality of Arezzo, sensitive and very active in these sustainable tourism projects related to Culture, to History, to the Faith and Spirituality. After the introduction by Mr. Comanducci councillor of Arezzo, the presentations of the Association Via Romea, Prof. Bambi for the University of Florence, the Aretino GAL and many others took part. The Councillor Ricci of Cortona, as well as adviser of our Association concluded the meeting . The next steps are an official meeting with the Region of Tuscany and a meeting with the Tourist Offices of the Tuscan Municipalities to begin an intense promotional work.
