THREE LAMAS TO ROME – 1 – DEPARTURE FROM BOZEN

Tuesday, February the 20th, 2018, on a sunny spring day, the three lamas, with our friends Walter Mayr, Thomas Burger and Thomas Mohr (German) came from the village of Soprabolzano, in the main  Walther Square in Bolzano, enthusiastically welcomed by many curious and friends, of German and Italian culture, with our friends of the CAI, with the televisions, the press and also us of the VIA ROMEA GERMANICA. An event that involved everyone and fills us with satisfaction for the involvement of the community of Bolzano, which once again proves to be the heart of our European, intercultural and inter-religious project. We will follow them on their way to Rome, where for Pope Francis they will bring as a gift a “skullcap” and a pair of “socks” handmade with alpaca wool. We would be pleased that the various communities they will met, as children, schools, and all the common people showed their friendship as they passed by.
