MARRADI (FI) MUNICIPALITY NEW MEMBER OF THE VIA ROMEA

On June 15, 2017, with pleasure we received the communication and resolution no. 17 of the 09/02/2017 with which the City of Marradi (Florence) has asked to become a member of Via Romea Germanica.
We are particularly pleased to note that Marradi is not on the axis indicated by Monaco Alberto.
However, the Commune, located on the ridge of the Romagna Apennines, is the leader of the project of a new ring walk that,  starting from CasalBorsetti (RA), will follow the Lamone River to reach Faenza, Brisighella, Marradi, Fallterona Mountain , Camaldoli, La Verna, where it will be reunited with the main route of the Via Romea.
This ring will have its own name and logo, but it is part of the “family” of the Via Romea.
Obviously, when the European Association will soon be established, Marradi will also be part of it.
