Students on the walk on the Via Romea
Students of Galilei Institute in Santa Sofia (IT), with their teachers and the guide Giovanni Betti, walked on the Via Romea Germanica from Santa Sofia to Pianetto’s Castle and back.
It was for them a discovery of the territory crossed, of the panoramas that can be admired, of historical and cultural emergencies “touched by hand” or seen from above, from the old village”La Croce” in Santa Sofia through the uninhabited town “Quartrosolo” to Pianetto’s Castle than Santa Maria di Pianetto Church and Monastery, that is now an archeology Museum of the ancient city “Mevaniola”.
The view is over all Bidente’s valley, with the Campigna Forest and the National Park that joins Romagna and Toscana.
A wonderful day, between roads, paths and meadows, all in contact with nature … ..
